Braided Nail Art

Hey Beauties!
Sorry for the lack of post this past week, I am currently on vacation with my family.
The other day Cute Polish from YouTube uploaded a video on braided nails. I fell in live with this look, so I tried this out right away. It was a super easy look to create as soon as you get the hang of it! However this look did take me a while to do.

The nails that Cute Polish created turned out like this:

And the design I came up with is:

For this look, you only need 3 polishes. The ones I chose were:
- L.A. Colors in Electrified
- Maybelline New York Express Finish in Onyx Rush
- Maybelline New York Express Fibish in Racy Red
- Rimmel London Clear Base Coat
- China Glaze Fast Foreward Top Coat which I am LOVING right now!

DIY Glittery Nails

Hey girlies!
For the past couple of days I have been getting a lot of compliments on my nails that I did for my graduation. They are super easy to do and looks so girly!
If you also want to also get these nails then keep reading!

The first thing that you will need to achieve this look is  some fine glitter. I picked up some superfine glitter at my local dollar store for only $1 CDN.

You will also need some sheer and white polish to make the nails look more put together and make the glitter show up the best.

After applying a base coat, I took Maybelline New York in Snow Bunny, which is a sheer polish, and applied this to all my nails. 

Then I took a white polish, and using my finger, I just applied this to the top 3rd of my nails.

Now to get the glitter to stick to your nails, I took my top coat and applied this to the upper half/third of my nails. I waited a few seconds for the top coat to become sticky. Then I just picked up the glitter with a clean finger and padded this onto the clear polish. I also brought a lighter layer of glitter just under the first layer of glitter to fade it out.

Once you have applied all the glitter to your nails wait until they completely dry before applying your top coat. I found that I had to apply many layers of my top coat to get the glitter to not chip off and to make my nails feel smooth without the bumpy feeling of the glitter.

And thats all I did to get these super cute and girly nails!

Colorful Leopard Print

Today I have my nail art for this week to share for you. I saw this design on one of the YouTube nail channels that I watch all the time. I fell in love with this design right away and knew that I would have to try it out for myself!

I used a variety of polishes to get this specific look.

Getting Ready For Summer FOTN

Every day is a day closer to summer which is getting me really exicted! Where I live the weather has been getting really nice, minus a rainy day here and there. To make it even better, this weekend is also a long weekend here in Canada!

Eyes Open - EOTD ♡

Hey girlies!

Today I wore this pinky-sparkly eyeshadow to school to match my outfit and I wanted to share this spring eye look with you girls! This is now one of my favourite colors to wear on my eyes this spring because it makes my eyes fresh and "wide awake" looking. This is the eyeshadow that I got when I was in Europe in Venice at a place called Kiko.

The only thing I do recommend with this eyeshadow is that you use a good primer. I used E.L.F.'s Shimmer palette as a primer, and by the end of the school day the shadow began to crease. Otherwise I love this shadow!

Sweet & Simple Cheetah Nails!

For the past two days where I have lived its been rainy and gloomy! So today since I didnt have to work, I decided to spend some time doing a fun nail art design. I saw a picture on Instagram earlier this week on some white, black, and pink cheetah nails and fell in love with the design. So this post is my version of these cheetah nails! :)

Pretty in Purple: Spring Makeup Look

Hello Beauties!
Today I have another spring makeup look for you, that is again from my E.L.F. 100 Eyeshadow Palette. This is more of a spring/summer evening look, since there are some darker colors in it. I would wear this for a night where I am going out with my friends, or to any evening party.

I find that purple is one of my go-to colors. It's one of those colors that I am comfortable wearing, and tend to wear it all the time.

To finish this look, I used Maybelline's XXL Mascara, Annabelle Pencil Eyeliner, and NYC Liquid Eyeliner. :)

LOVE Is For The Way You Look At Me ♡

Hey Beauties!

I got a tweet today from @SamreenSalim saying that I should do a blog post! So thats what I decided to do. From the title, this is another look leading up to Valentine's Day!

To get this look, I used a variety of pink and purple colors fom my e.l.f. 100 Eyeshadow Palette (For the Review of this palette, click here.) I started off with a gold/silver color in my inner corners, then took some pinks and purples, mixed them together and applied them to the center of my lids. On my outter-V, I mixed some dark pink with a soft black. Tip! To get very sharp lines on the outter part of your lid, use a clear tape, stick it onto your eye where you want your shadow to stop, and start applying your shadow. When you are done, peel the tape off and you will get a nice line of shadow :)
Once I was done with the shadows, I applied by usual routine of Annabelle Eyeliner, and Maybelline New York Mascara. And thats it! Super simple :)

January Favorites!

Hey girlies!
I can't believe its the time of the month to do favorites again! Time is just flying by so fast! Last month I didnt do favorites because I kept using the same products, but this month I do have some favorites that I will share with you :)

So lets get right to it!

E.L.F. Blush Stick in Pink Lemonade

This is a great blush! I loved using this because just a powder blush doesnt show up as good on my skin tone. This blush has a creamy-like texture and is easy to apply. It is also very pigmented!

E.L.F Pigment Shadow: Golden Goddess





I love this shadow so much! It is such a pretty gold color (even though it doesnt look very gold here). The shadow is very pigmented and is very easy to apply! And is nice and shimmery :)

Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush in Rose Petal

This is another blush that I am loving. It is not as bright as the E.L.F blush, but I love it because it has a nice sparkly undertone to it. Since it is a mousse it is very easy to apply!

EOS Lip Balm in Summer Fruit

I didnt post a picture of this lip balm, but I am in love with this lip balm soo much! I got this from a friend not too long ago, and fell in love with it after the first use! It makes your lips so soft, and has a wonderful scent to it! One of my favorite lip balms to date :)

John Frieda Tone Restoring Shampoo and Lightening Spray



I have been using this purple shapoo for sometime now to keep my hair as blonde as possible as not go brassy. This does keep the brassiness out of my hair for the most part. I am satisfied this this shampoo but I do wish it would work a bit better. So when I heard that John Frieda made lightening spray I really wanted to try it becuase everyone said it worked really well. And it does! I am very happy with the spray, it lightened the brassy parts of my hair and made my whole head lighter! It has also been making my roots lighter too, which is a plus! :)

NYC Liquid Eyeliner

I have posted this eyeliner as one of my favorites before, and I am still loving it! This is a cheap eyeliner but I find that it works soo good for me! It stays on all day and is easy to apply. I have been loving this, and I will keep on loving it for some time :)
