Eyes Open - EOTD ♡

Hey girlies!
Today I wore this pinky-sparkly eyeshadow to school to match my outfit and I wanted to share this spring eye look with you girls! This is now one of my favourite colors to wear on my eyes this spring because it makes my eyes fresh and "wide awake" looking. This is the eyeshadow that I got when I was in Europe in Venice at a place called Kiko.

The only thing I do recommend with this eyeshadow is that you use a good primer. I used E.L.F.'s Shimmer palette as a primer, and by the end of the school day the shadow began to crease. Otherwise I love this shadow!

What Im Wearing:
Face:
- Covergirl Clean Liquid Foundation
- Physicians Formula Bamboo Bronzer
- Aziza Blush
- Maybelline XXL Mascara
- Annabelle Kohl Eyeliner

Clothing/ Accessories:
- Top: H&M (Florence Italy)
- Feather Earrings: H&M (Florence Italy)
- Diamond Earrings: Ardene

Hope you all have a great and safe weekend!

Pretty in Purple: Spring Makeup Look

Hello Beauties!
Today I have another spring makeup look for you, that is again from my E.L.F. 100 Eyeshadow Palette. This is more of a spring/summer evening look, since there are some darker colors in it. I would wear this for a night where I am going out with my friends, or to any evening party.

I find that purple is one of my go-to colors. It's one of those colors that I am comfortable wearing, and tend to wear it all the time.
To finish this look, I used Maybelline's XXL Mascara, Annabelle Pencil Eyeliner, and NYC Liquid Eyeliner. :)

Is purple one color that you will be wearing this spring?

LOVE Is For The Way You Look At Me ♡

Hey Beauties!

I got a tweet today from @SamreenSalim saying that I should do a blog post! So thats what I decided to do. From the title, this is another look leading up to Valentine's Day!

To get this look, I used a variety of pink and purple colors fom my e.l.f. 100 Eyeshadow Palette (For the Review of this palette, click here.) I started off with a gold/silver color in my inner corners, then took some pinks and purples, mixed them together and applied them to the center of my lids. On my outter-V, I mixed some dark pink with a soft black. Tip! To get very sharp lines on the outter part of your lid, use a clear tape, stick it onto your eye where you want your shadow to stop, and start applying your shadow. When you are done, peel the tape off and you will get a nice line of shadow :)
Once I was done with the shadows, I applied by usual routine of Annabelle Eyeliner, and Maybelline New York Mascara. And thats it! Super simple :)

How are you planning on wearing you makeup for Valentine's Day?

E.L.F Gold & Purple Eyeshadow & Palette Review

Hi Girls!

I am happy to say that my final exams ended this morning, so I now have time to catch up on my blog posts!
Today I have a gold & purple eyeshadow tutorial that is really quick and simple! I used my e.l.f 100 eyeshadow palette that I ordered around Christmas, and I have to say that I love the colors! :)
I also filmed this that I will be uploading later tonight onto Youtube, and when I do I will post the link so you girls can check it out! http://www.youtube.com/simplychic29

The Makeup:

Eye Products Used:

e.l.f Shimmer Palette (primer)
e.l.f 100 Eyeyshadow Palette
e.l.f Black Cream Eyeliner
Maybelline XXL Mascara
Annabelle Eyeliner in 73 Black
EcoTools 1203 brush

I also wanted to do a quick review on e.l.f's 100 eyeshadow palette.

This palette has 100 different colors (as it says in the title haha), and each color is unique in its own way! There is a mixture of both matte and shimmer colors in this palette which makes it really handy when you are doing your makeup.
When I ordered this palette, My friend and I ordered it online, and it actually took a few, like 4 I think, weeks to come in! Which is a really long time concidering that it isn't that far to ship to where I live. To see the haul click here. When I ordered this it was only $10! Crazy right? I dont think I have seen a palette this cheap with this many colors!

The colors in the palette are very pigmented and are nice and smooth. As I was doing this look, I was thinking about how easy the colors were to apply and blend together! However, I did find that the shadows did have a wierd smell to them, which I found wierd.

All in all, I would recommend this palette to anyone! It is a very cheap buy for a very good product!

If you want to buy this I will leave the link to it below:

Have you bought this palette already? Let me know what your thoughts are on it :)

OOTN ~ Winter Formal ♡

Hey girls! I have a really exciting post tonight! On monday night, our senior class  at my school had our Winter Formal dinner and dance. I've been planning on doing this post to show you girls my makeup, nails, dress, and especially my heels!
I will also include some pics of the fun and memorable night with all of my friends! :)

Makeup
The dress that I wore was black with silver gems on it, so I chose to do my makeup as a silver smokey eye.

I used a white cream base and applied it all over my lid. After I applied Rimmel London's shadow in Silver Moonlight all over my lid. For the outer "v" I packed on Chocolate by Joe Fresh. After blending the two colors together, I applied NYC's Liquid Eyeliner on the top of my lid as well as on my bottom lashes. I also used Annabelle's Kohl eyeliner to make the look even more dramatic.  After the eyeliner, I applied a generous amount of mascara.

Nails

I decided to do something simple but very pretty for my nails. I used Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails in Ice and used Simply Strawberry also by Sally Hansen to side swipe the pink on my nails and used Sassy Sparkle by L.A. Colors to add sparkle to the side swipe. I used L.A. Colors Silver Glitter Striper to add a sparkled stripe.

Dress:
This dress is a hard one to explain the detailing on it, but one thing that is easy to say about it is that it is black lol. Here are some pics:

Heels
The heels that I wore are absolutely amazing! I know when I saw them that they were the ones for me. However, they were 5.5 inches and by then end of the night my feel hurt so much and the next day my calf's also hurt so much from them!

Winter Frost Eyeshadow & NOTW & Blog Award

Hey Girls!
So I think winter is officially here! Well where I live anyways! For the past 3 days I have woke up to snow snow snow! I love the weather when you look outside and the snow has just fallen and it looks all fluffy and sparkly!

This is what I woke up to this morning! Looking outside make me want to get a nice mug of Hot Chocolate and lay in bed watching Christmas movies all day! Haha, but unfortunately I had to work all day today and wasn’t able to enjoy doing that.
However, today I was able to do a eyeshadow tutorial using my Sephora Eyeshadow that bought not to long ago. I really love this eyeshadow and the beautiful silver sparkles that are in it make me love it even more.

I used my Tickled Pink by Sephora and Chocolate by Joe Fresh. I also applied some glitter eyeliner on top of the shadows to make it even more sparkly! I did a post on it when I first purchased this eyeshadow and posted a few swatches here. Tickled Pink is a gorgeous frosty pink color with silver glitters, it isvery smooth in texture, has a shimmery finish, and blends so nicely. I absolutely love this shade paired with a darker chocolate brown color.

For my lips, I decided to go with bright red-pink lips to give the look a pop of color! I also added some shimmery gloss over to make the shadow and lips go perfectly together.
