Naked Palette Quick Look #3

Hey girls!
Today I have for you another Naked Palette quick look. This look is a look that I wear all the time in the day to either school, work, or just to go out. It is really easy to achieve and the light colors really brighten your eyes.

First what I do is mix Sin and Virgin together as apply this all over the lids of my eyes.
I will then take Darkhorse and Smog, mixing them together and applying that to the outer corners of my eyes.
Then I use a mixture of Naked and Virgin to blend the colors up to my brow bone.
For the inner corner of my eye, I used a champagne color shadow from one of my Rimmel palettes.
After that, I just apply my eyeliner and mascara as usual. And you're done!

Hope you enjoyed this look!

Suttle Blues ♥

Hey girls!
Today I thought I would post a eyeshadow tutorial that I had planned for a few weeks but never got to posting about it. Its the makeup that I wore in my Youtube video on nude summer lips. Its a really simple look with a pop of blue in the outer V of the eye.
If you havent seen my video already you can watch it below!

The shadows I used to create this look were Joe Fresh in Ice, and I applied this to my inner corners of my eye. I then took Gold Rush also by Joe Fresh (not pictured below) and applied this all over my lid. Then lastly I took my E.L.F. Quad in Ocean Dream and used the 2 darker blues and applied those to the outer V. Then I just took a fluffy brush, blended the colors together, applied some eyeliner and mascara and thats it!

I hope you enjoyed this quick eyeshadow look. And if you want to see how what I'm wearing on my lips just watch the video above! :)

E.L.F Gold & Purple Eyeshadow & Palette Review

Hi Girls!

I am happy to say that my final exams ended this morning, so I now have time to catch up on my blog posts!
Today I have a gold & purple eyeshadow tutorial that is really quick and simple! I used my e.l.f 100 eyeshadow palette that I ordered around Christmas, and I have to say that I love the colors! :)
I also filmed this that I will be uploading later tonight onto Youtube, and when I do I will post the link so you girls can check it out! http://www.youtube.com/simplychic29

The Makeup:

Eye Products Used:

e.l.f Shimmer Palette (primer)
e.l.f 100 Eyeyshadow Palette
e.l.f Black Cream Eyeliner
Maybelline XXL Mascara
Annabelle Eyeliner in 73 Black
EcoTools 1203 brush

I also wanted to do a quick review on e.l.f's 100 eyeshadow palette.

This palette has 100 different colors (as it says in the title haha), and each color is unique in its own way! There is a mixture of both matte and shimmer colors in this palette which makes it really handy when you are doing your makeup.
When I ordered this palette, My friend and I ordered it online, and it actually took a few, like 4 I think, weeks to come in! Which is a really long time concidering that it isn't that far to ship to where I live. To see the haul click here. When I ordered this it was only $10! Crazy right? I dont think I have seen a palette this cheap with this many colors!

The colors in the palette are very pigmented and are nice and smooth. As I was doing this look, I was thinking about how easy the colors were to apply and blend together! However, I did find that the shadows did have a wierd smell to them, which I found wierd.

All in all, I would recommend this palette to anyone! It is a very cheap buy for a very good product!

If you want to buy this I will leave the link to it below:

Have you bought this palette already? Let me know what your thoughts are on it :)

Winter Frost Eyeshadow & NOTW & Blog Award

Hey Girls!
So I think winter is officially here! Well where I live anyways! For the past 3 days I have woke up to snow snow snow! I love the weather when you look outside and the snow has just fallen and it looks all fluffy and sparkly!

This is what I woke up to this morning! Looking outside make me want to get a nice mug of Hot Chocolate and lay in bed watching Christmas movies all day! Haha, but unfortunately I had to work all day today and wasn’t able to enjoy doing that.
However, today I was able to do a eyeshadow tutorial using my Sephora Eyeshadow that bought not to long ago. I really love this eyeshadow and the beautiful silver sparkles that are in it make me love it even more.

I used my Tickled Pink by Sephora and Chocolate by Joe Fresh. I also applied some glitter eyeliner on top of the shadows to make it even more sparkly! I did a post on it when I first purchased this eyeshadow and posted a few swatches here. Tickled Pink is a gorgeous frosty pink color with silver glitters, it isvery smooth in texture, has a shimmery finish, and blends so nicely. I absolutely love this shade paired with a darker chocolate brown color.

For my lips, I decided to go with bright red-pink lips to give the look a pop of color! I also added some shimmery gloss over to make the shadow and lips go perfectly together.

Sephora Tender Pink Shadow ♡

Hi Ladies!Wow have I ever been busy, especially today! At school today, I had a oral presentation, a quiz, an exam, and a major project due, so I havnt has time to post anything new yet! But today I have a post about a wonderful shadow that I just recently bought from Sephora!

This past weekend, my friend came into town and we went shopping to Sephora, which just recently opened in my city. When I walked in I was literally like this is makeup Heaven! Haha, it was wonderful! While my friend bought a makeup palette, I purchased the most wonderful eyeshadow I have ever seen! I got one of the Colorful Mono Eyeshadows in the Sephora Collection in the color Tender Pink.

When describing this beautiful color, the best fit discription would be that it is a frosty light pink color with silver glitters. This is my first Sephora eyeshadow, but the Ladies working there told me that their Mono Eyeshadows have the perfect, combination of brilliant color, an easy-blending formula, and endless versatility that will give your eye-makeup a show-stopping effect! I was told that to create a dazzling look, after priming your lids, to apply the color dry for a natural vibe or dampen your brush and apply wet for a sophisticated look. I have tried using the wet formula and I know from expierence that this way really works to make your eyeshadows pop!

I took 2 different swatches of the shadow to see the beautiful color :)

This first picture was taken under darker light with no flash, and you can see the frosty color here.

This picture was taken under a brighter light with a flash on. Here you can really see the frosty light pink color and the silver glitters. I think I am in love! Haha.
This shadow was $16 CDN, and it was worth it!
I will hopefully do a review and tutorial with this color very soon! :)

What is your favorite eyeshadow brand and/or color?

Love to hear from you girls!
