New hair!

Hey girlies!
So sorry I haven't posted in a while, life has just been super busy lately! I hope to have some more posts up soon and even some Halloween tutorials too!

Lately I've been debating whether I want to color my hair white blonde or go for a huge change and go brown.
I decided that I'll try colouring my hair white blonde and then go dark if I want to, rather than trying to lift my hair back to blonde if I didn't like it.
So this weekend I put a whole day aside to work on my hair.
I bought a highlighting cap, bleach, and developer from Sally's and decided to take on this job of going white blonde!
It took me 3.5 hours from start to finish, but it was all totally worth it!
I love my hair right now and think that I might want to stay white blonde for some time still.

Some of the products that I used were:

-Clairol Professional Blue Kaleidocolors Bleach Powder
-Salon Care 30 Volume Clear Developer
-Salon Care Highlighting Cap
-Colortrack Highlighting Brush

I thought I would include a before/ after pic of my hair. The before picture was in the summer, so that is why I look so tanned in it!

How do you think it turned out??

Health & Beauty Tip

Hey girls! Well im going to go ahead this week with another Weekly Health & Beauty Tips. Let me know what you think of these tips! Like them? Hate them? Leave me some feedback :)

Let get right to it!

DIY Milk Face Mask!
Dry skin can be very irritating at times and often gets flaky all over. If you want to give your dry skin a soft and silky feel, here’s a great beauty tip straight from your kitchen! How about using a homemade milk mask to get rid of the problem of dry skin and get a supple, fresh and healthy look?

Ingredients required for milk face mask:

 • 1 tsp Powdered Milk

• 1 tsp Aloe Vera Gel

• 1 tbsp Runny Honey (not the hard stuff)

• 2 drops Essential Oil

How to prepare milk face mask:

Preparing this milk face pack for dry skin involves a very simple step. All you need to do is mix all the ingredients well and make a paste. Your natural beauty pack is ready.

How to apply milk face mask:

 • Wash face properly and dab it dry.

• Now use your fingers to spread the milk mask evenly all over your face leaving out the eyes and adjoining sensitive areas.

 • Leave the mask on for 15 minutes and then wash it off with warm water.

Treat your skin with homemade milk mask regularly and see for yourself, the difference within a few days. Such homemade beauty tips are effective for a glowing and healthy skin!

Note: Girls, do not use this beauty recipe if you are allergic to any ingredient! I woulnt want any of you girls to get a reaction.

Cold and flu season is here, but that doesn't mean you have to stock up on tissues and wait for symptoms to make you miserable! To keep fever, sneezing, runny nose, and other gnarly symptoms away, just do your daily 30-minute walk and chow down on these foods to give your immune system a hefty boost.

1. Use the power of healthful protein. One of protein's many jobs is pumping up your ability to make disease-busting antibodies. Just steer clear of fatty red meats and full-fat dairy foods (they promote heart-hazardous inflammation). Pick up healthy-fat, high-protein foods, such as nonfat dairy, skinless white-meat chicken, ground turkey breast, tofu, fish, nuts, and beans.

2. Load up on colorful eats. Oranges, strawberries, bell peppers, broccoli, tomatoes, kiwifruit . . . all are loaded with vitamin C and flavonoids, which help your body churn out protective immune cells. Take this quiz to see how much you know about preventing colds and flu.

3. Eat 100% whole-grain cereals. Oatmeal, shredded wheat, and other whole-grain cereals deliver three nutrients proved to enhance immunity: selenium, zinc, and beta glucan.

Weekly Beauty & Health Tips!

Hey Girls!

I was thinking about doing a new 'series' of posts about health and fitness, exercise, makeup and beauty tips, ect! I've been wanting to do these kind of posts for ages but never got around to it, and I hope you girls will be interested!

My plans for these posts are to do one every Tuesday or Wednesday, and each post will have one beauty/makeup tip and one health/fitness tip! I thought I would also end each post with a quote that will inspire you for the rest of the week! :)

So lets get right to the first post!

Where I live the temperatures have been really been up and down. One day it will be -27 ̊ C and a few days later (like today) it will be 0 ̊ C! So dry skin is a problem of mine, and this first tip deals with dry skin.

Gentle cleansing: Dry skin demands plenty of cleansing and regular skin cell stimulation. Apply generous proportions of moisturizer to the dry skin. It saturates the outer skin layers with water content and gives a soft and moist look.

Dry Skin Mask: For revitalizing, the dead skin cells prepare a mask for your face! To make it use an egg, 1 teaspoon of honey, and 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil. Add little rosewater drops in the end. Mix everything together and apply the mask and see the result for yourself!

Everybody wants to be healthy now adays right!? Well listen to this...It takes 3500 calories to gain a pound. If you want to lose a pound per week, reduce your calorie intake by 250 calories and incorporate daily physical activity that will burn 250 calories. Flaxseeds are a great source of Omega 3 fatty acids. To regularly consume flax seeds, sprinkle them on your cereal, salads, and sandwiches or put in soups and stews!
