Christmas is just about here!

Hey ladies!
Today is Christmas Eve, I cant believe it! I dont know about you, but for me it still doesnt feel like Christmas! :( It could be the fact that this year Canada has hardly any snow. It is really wierd seeing grass and not wearing a winter coat when usually it is almost 30 below!
Since Christmas is tomorrow, tonight I did my nails (after triming most of them...), and for a Christmas theme, I added Santa to my art! I made cute Santa faces on all of my nails.

Do you think they are cute??

I just want to wish a Merry Christmas to all my wonderful followers! Your comments and love means sooo much to me! Have a wonderful day tomorrow, and Happy Holidays!

DIY: Hot Cocoa

Hey everyone, and a early Merry Christmas!
It is crazy how fast Christmas is coming! I am super happy that I was able to get the last of my families Christmas presents today :)

Lately I have been making this Hot Cocoa instead of Hot Chocolate, and I have to say that I am loving it! It isnt as sweet as Hot Chocolate, but it is a great recipe and is less than 100 calories!

What you will need:
1 Tablespoons of Unsweetened Cocoa
1 Tablespoons of White Sugar
1 Tablespoons of Milk (and percentage: Skim, 1%, ect..)
1 Cup (250 mL) Boiling Water (or heated milk)

How to make it:
  1. Blend 1 tablespoon (15mL) of Unsweetened Cocoa with 1 tablespoon (or more, depending on how sweet you would like it) of White Sugar. While you are doing this, start boiling 1.5 cups of water. (I always like to boil more water than needed just in case ^.^ )
  2. Mix in 1 tablespoon of cold milk, and mix until smooth. This may take a few minutes.
  3. Once your water has boilied, pour in 1 cup of boiling water. You can also use milk, I just perfer to use water
  4. If you would like, go ahead and add some marshmellows, whipped cream, and cherries! (I usually dont, but hey maybe you do! :) )
This is a great winter treat! Especially for cold days!

Nutrition Info:
1 Tablespoons of Unsweetened Cocoa: ~10 calories
1 Tablespoons of White Sugar: ~ 30 calories
1 Tablespoons of Milk (Skim): ~ 5-10 calories
1 Cup (250 mL) Boiling Water: 0 calories
                                                       ------------------
                                                        ~ 50 calories

Wow! Only 50 calories for Hot Cocoa! Not only is this fun to make yourself, but it has way less calories than packaged hot chocolate :)
If you do uses 1 cup of milk, or more sugar, the calories will increase.

If you try out this recipe, let me know if you like it!!
Have a wonderful week, and Happy Holidays!
