Candy Canes To Christmas!

Hey Girls! Christmas is soon approaching, and I am getting into the Christmas season more and more every day! Tonight I did candy canes and snowmen on my nails for this week's NOTW! I think they are so cute :)

What do you think?...

I filed all my nails down! :(

How cute is this snowman!?

I don't have all the nail polish colors with me right now, but I used a red color by Maybelline New York, and applied Red Velvet by E.L.F. over that. I used my nail art brush with some white polish to draw on the candy cane lines and the snowman! I used a black to detail the snowman. Once I finish that I used Sassy Sparkle by L.A. Colors to add sparkle to the snoman nail. After that I applied my top coat and thats it!

Have a great week! xox,

OOTN ~ Winter Formal ♡

Hey girls! I have a really exciting post tonight! On monday night, our senior class  at my school had our Winter Formal dinner and dance. I've been planning on doing this post to show you girls my makeup, nails, dress, and especially my heels!
I will also include some pics of the fun and memorable night with all of my friends! :)

Makeup
The dress that I wore was black with silver gems on it, so I chose to do my makeup as a silver smokey eye.

I used a white cream base and applied it all over my lid. After I applied Rimmel London's shadow in Silver Moonlight all over my lid. For the outer "v" I packed on Chocolate by Joe Fresh. After blending the two colors together, I applied NYC's Liquid Eyeliner on the top of my lid as well as on my bottom lashes. I also used Annabelle's Kohl eyeliner to make the look even more dramatic.  After the eyeliner, I applied a generous amount of mascara.

Nails

I decided to do something simple but very pretty for my nails. I used Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails in Ice and used Simply Strawberry also by Sally Hansen to side swipe the pink on my nails and used Sassy Sparkle by L.A. Colors to add sparkle to the side swipe. I used L.A. Colors Silver Glitter Striper to add a sparkled stripe.

Dress:
This dress is a hard one to explain the detailing on it, but one thing that is easy to say about it is that it is black lol. Here are some pics:

Heels
The heels that I wore are absolutely amazing! I know when I saw them that they were the ones for me. However, they were 5.5 inches and by then end of the night my feel hurt so much and the next day my calf's also hurt so much from them!

Winter Inspired NOTD ☃

Hi Girls!
I got a winter-inspired NOTD for you girls this weekend! Our Countdown to Christmas is now at:
Boy the time is just flying!

For my nails, my inspiration was the beautiful sparkling snow!

I took our my 2 favorite blue colors for this nail art. I used Maybelline’s Express Finish in Timely Turquoise and NYC Long Wearing Polish in Kool Blue. I made a fading effect from the dark blue to the light blue. My inspiration for this was the bright blue skies fading down into the sparkly white snow!

I added white and blue dots to my nails, representing the blowing snow flakes. On my thumb and statement finger, I designed 2 different snowflakes to add to these nails. These were super easy to do! If you use a Nail Art Brush like the American Painter one I have, or even a tooth pick, it makes the designing process much easier!

Once I finished that, I added L.A. Colors Color Craze in Sassy Sparkle as a top coat, and to make the nails look like they actually have sparkly snow on them!

What part of winter inspires you?
I hope you all are having a wonderful and safe weekend!

November Favorites

Hey Girls! So November is now over so it means that it's time of the month again!
Lots of different type of favourites for you all this month, November has been all about hair and skin for me. I'm sooo excited that it's December, Christmas time is almost here... and so is the most beautiful time of year!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
TRESemme Hair Spray: I am in love with this hair spray right now! Along with the amazing smell of it (and of all TRESemme products), it is one of those hair sprays that don't leave your hair feeling stiff or sticky throughout the day. I wouldn't say that it last all day, but what I like the most is that it doesn't leave your hair stiff!
TRESemme Heat Tamer Spray: I am also loving this heat protector. It has the same wonderful smell that the hair spray has and I find that it pritects by hair well when I am using my flat iron or curling iron!
Rimmel London Eyeshadow: This Rimmel shadow in Silver Moonlight is a perfect color for the holidays! It is a very shimmery silver color that makes your eyes POP when you wear it! It is a very pretty color!
Joe Fresh Shadow Brush: This large shadow brush is really great when applying color all over your lids. I love using this brush when I am in a rush to get to school in the morning and I need a brush that will quickly apply a good amount of color all over my lids!
Hempz Herbal Moisturizer: With the weather reaching extreme cold temperatures, my skin sure gets effected by it! This lotion is a very thick and heavy which is prefect! I always apply this before going to bed, and in the morning I wake up with my face feeling soft and moisturized!
NYC Long Lasting Nail Polish: This color in Kool Blue is such a beautiful color! It is a frosty blue color that is perfect for designing snowflakes on your nails this winter!
Maybelline Express Finish Nail Polish: This color is the brightest aqua-blue color I've ever seen! This color is called Timely Turquoise and its is soo bright and beautiful color! One of my faves :)
And last but not least, I bought this cute Dora Lip Jelly at work just because I need a cheap lipbalm to use when I am on the go. This one I bought for $1 CDN and I love it! That might be super odd, since it was only $1 but it really works! And with the super cute packaging, I just had to go buy another one!
What were your favorites this month? Have a great weekend!
