Glossy Neutral Lips ♡

Hey Girls!
With summer fast approaching, one thing that I know is great for summer are neutral lips. I love the look of light colored/ nude lips for summer time as well as wearing my lips glossy too. Today I have another YouTube tutorial on how I wear my neutral glossy ways -- one really pale, and one with a pinkish color to them!

The trick I use to get a nice neutral/ nude lip is to start out with a good base to your lips. I use a combination of concealers to get the desired shade that I want. After I blend that into my lips, I start adding the gloss or color to my lips that I want to wear that day.

When you apply the concealer to your lips, it looks kinda scary but thats what I find works for me!

For the full tutorial click the video below! :)

Do you like nude lips? Will you be wearing them this summer?

Tribal Print OOTD

Hey Loves!
This weekend I did some shopping with my mom and sister to some stores in our local mall. Since summer is just about here, I thought this would be a great time to get some new clothes for the coming season. Its been pretty hot where I live, so it seems like summer already has arrived!
As Alona said in her latest post ( http://www.fashionfreshman.com/2012/05/tribal-esque.html ), tribal print is really in this summer. I have been loving tribal print since last fall actually, so I am exicted that it is back in for this summer!

I got this top at Stitches, www.stitchesonline.com/ and I'm so in love with it!!
I also got around to doing a OOTD video for it so make sure to watch it below. It lists everything I'm wearing!

Hope you all had a great weekend!

Yellow Polka Dot Bikini NOTW

Hey Girls!
Sorry for the lack of posts this week! It's been kind of crazy with alot of things happening this week. But, this weekend its a long weekend for me where I live because Monday is a holiday, so I will have time to get some posts up this weekend!

Earlier this week I did my nails and wanted to do them nice and summery. I chose yellow because I find this color to get me into the summer mood. As I was doing my nails and I thought adding some white polka dots would add a fun look to them! Once I started doing the dots the lyrics Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini came into my head, which inspired the name of this post!

Polishes Used:
- Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in Mellow Yellow
- Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in White Out
- China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat

*TIP: If you have touble like me at doing perfectly straight side swipes on your nails follow this one super easy step!

Take some Scotch Tape and lightly place the tape where you want your side swipe to be. Paint the top helf of your nail, and once the polish is dry carefully remove the tape and finish your design!

Have a great weekend!

Eyes Open - EOTD ♡

Hey girlies!
Today I wore this pinky-sparkly eyeshadow to school to match my outfit and I wanted to share this spring eye look with you girls! This is now one of my favourite colors to wear on my eyes this spring because it makes my eyes fresh and "wide awake" looking. This is the eyeshadow that I got when I was in Europe in Venice at a place called Kiko.

The only thing I do recommend with this eyeshadow is that you use a good primer. I used E.L.F.'s Shimmer palette as a primer, and by the end of the school day the shadow began to crease. Otherwise I love this shadow!

What Im Wearing:
Face:
- Covergirl Clean Liquid Foundation
- Physicians Formula Bamboo Bronzer
- Aziza Blush
- Maybelline XXL Mascara
- Annabelle Kohl Eyeliner

Clothing/ Accessories:
- Top: H&M (Florence Italy)
- Feather Earrings: H&M (Florence Italy)
- Diamond Earrings: Ardene

Hope you all have a great and safe weekend!

Gorgeous Shoes Are Instant Power - Guest Post

Gorgeous Shoes Are Instant Power
By: Jackie Clark

Young women going through cancer treatment often feel lost and confused; this is completely and totally normal. Your life has been up-ended in a way that you never imagined would happen. Cancer such as mesothelioma can leave you feeling weak, powerless and depressed. If you are in this situation there are certain ways that you can change your mental mindset and remove yourself from the situation. It is important that you do whatever it takes to feel good about yourself again. You are fighting the biggest battle of your life and need all of the ammunition that you can get your hands on.

One of the best ways to place yourself into a new, positive mental state of mind is to look your best. People undergoing cancer treatment often do not feel very good; nausea, hair loss, fatigue and lack of interest in everyday things are often symptoms that occur after a mesothelioma prognosis. You have to find a way to reclaim your power and strength, even if it is only for a little while. One thing that helps many young women is a great pair of shoes.

This might seem like a silly solution to a serious problem but it isn't. A fabulous pair of shoes can change your mind from feeling depressed into feeling happy and pretty. This works especially well if you do not have the energy or patience to undergo a complete fashion makeover. Simply put on a gorgeous pair of shoes with your normal jeans and prepare to change the way that you feel. It is important to choose a pair of shoes that really make you feel great for this exercise to work. It does not matter what kind of look you choose as long as the shoes make you feel powerful, beautiful and special.

One great way to choose a new pair of fun shoes is by color. Think about adding a pair of red pumps, wedges or sandals to your shoe wardrobe. Red is a color that is often equated with power and sophistication and they go with many things. You can wear red shoes with blue jeans and a plain top for a hint of color, red heels with a pretty black dress, or an all-red ensemble to really stand out in a flashy, old-Hollywood type of way.

It is important to remember to have fun with your shoes and choose a pair that really complements your personality. Look for little details that make you happy such as a small bow or genuine leather that will last for a long time. You are investing in this item as a statement of your ability to be strong, face the problems that life throws at you, and move forward in the best way that you can.

Thanks to Jackie for this post!
